Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 October 2026

These terms apply to the use of founders-intelligence.com and to the Founders Intelligence service provided by Carlo Rohe ("we", "us"). The service is offered to businesses only, not to consumers. Where a customer has signed an individual agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence.

1. The service

Founders Intelligence builds a knowledge base from the data sources a customer connects and from public market sources, and turns it into weekly briefings with prioritised recommendations, such as brand launches to follow up, press contacts or content to test. The service is currently in a closed pilot. Features may change, and we do not promise any particular availability during the pilot.

2. You stay in control

The service drafts and suggests. It does not send emails, publish posts or contact anyone on your behalf, and it reads from your connected accounts without changing them. Every action based on a briefing is your decision.

3. Connected accounts and your data

  • You may only connect accounts (for example Gmail, Google Drive or Instagram) that you are authorised to use for this purpose, and you are responsible for informing your own contacts about the processing where the law requires it.
  • You keep all rights to your data. You give us the right to process it only to provide the service to you. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and, for customers, in the data processing agreement.
  • We treat your data and briefings as confidential and do not share them with other customers.
  • You can revoke our access at any time in your Google or Meta account settings.

4. AI-generated content

Briefings are produced with the help of AI models and automated collection of public information. We link recommendations to their sources so you can check them, but AI output and third-party sources can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Please check important facts before you act on them. We do not guarantee any particular business result.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, to send unsolicited mass messages, or to try to access other customers' data or our systems without permission.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you may regularly rely), and only up to the damage typically foreseeable when the contract was concluded. Any further liability is excluded. During a free pilot, our liability for slight negligence is excluded entirely, except in the cases listed in the first sentence.

7. Term and termination

Unless agreed otherwise, either party can end the use of the service at any time by email. When the service ends, we disconnect all integrations and delete the customer's workspace as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Düsseldorf, Germany, where legally permitted.
